What font files do I get when I buy a typeface?
A Desktop license includes installable desktop fonts (typically OTF or TTF). A Webfont license includes self-hosted webfonts (typically WOFF and WOFF2) for @font-face. Each product page lists the styles and licenses included with that family.
What’s the difference between Desktop, Webfont, Advertising, and App licenses?
Desktop covers design apps such as Photoshop and Illustrator, plus logos, print, and packaging. Webfont covers self-hosting the typeface on a single website. Advertising covers paid ads, television, and promotional video. App covers embedding in a desktop or mobile app. Each use needs its matching license — details are on the Licenses page.
Can I use a purchased font in a client logo or website?
Yes, with the right license. Logos, print, and desktop design need a Desktop license. Using the typeface on a website needs a Webfont license. Agencies need a separate web license per client site. See font licenses for limits and restrictions.
Do you offer trial fonts before buying?
Selected fonts offer free trial versions when the creator has enabled them. Trials include a limited character set for internal evaluation only, require a Supply Family account, and cannot be used in final or public work. See the Trial Font License Agreement.
How do I download and install fonts after purchase?
Download links are sent by email and live in My Account → Purchases. Install desktop fonts in your operating system’s font manager, then use them in design apps. For web, self-host the webfont files and load them with @font-face as described in the Webfont license.
Can I embed fonts in an app or use them in paid advertising?
Embedding in a desktop or mobile app requires the App license. Paid advertising, TV commercials, and promotional films require the Advertising license. Desktop and Webfont licenses do not cover those uses.
