Hossegor takes its name from the surf town on France's Atlantic coast, and its letterforms come straight out of that 1970s seaside world: chunky..slab serifs, rounded groovy bowls, and hand-cut edges with a sun-bleached, slightly irregular finish. It's an all-caps retro serif display font drawn to go loud on headlines and hold its warmth on labels, surf-shop signage, worn vinyl sleeves, and faded beach posters.
