Color Overprint Effect

The effect renders your design as a two-ink print effect, with a third lighter tone rising where the inks overlap. The trick comes straight..from the pressroom: risograph and screen-print studios built whole visual languages on two overlapping ink layers, and recreating that look in Photoshop usually costs an evening of channel splitting and blend-mode juggling. Here the whole rig is prebuilt.

Artwork drops into the Smart Object, both ink colors swap through simple controls, and the halftone dot with rough paper grain lands on top on its own. Fonts, logos, illustration, and photography all take the treatment: photos break into duotone dots, line art comes out looking hand-pulled. The effect survives on a silkscreened tee or an offset poster as convincingly as in a social feed.
