Duo Color Print Effect

This retro text effect prints the lettering as a two-color job that never quite lines up — a red plate and a green plate..sit slightly out of register, so the type and its ornamental flourishes pick up a soft chromatic halo on aged, speckled paper. The misprint works like an old letterpress or risograph proof, equal parts Victorian title page and copier accident, and the same treatment carries across headline type, decorative borders, and damask fills.
