Chrome / Liquid Metal Text Effect

Oh, we love this one! The effect will wrap your word or logo in polished liquid metal. It's got rounded, tubular strokes with bright..specular highlights, soft reflections, and a raised bevel that catches the light. We built it on a transparent base, so the chrome falls onto a background or photo without extra masking.

Drop your word or logo into the smart object, then shift the color layer to swap the chrome for gold, rose, or gunmetal. The effect is at its strongest on bold, rounded letterforms, and a dark background gives the reflections more to bounce off.

Usage: logo treatments, album covers, poster titles, streetwear graphics, event flyers, product and packaging branding, social media headers, Y2K-style visuals, and magazine display type.
